Fantastic informative event 'How to calm the overthinking mind', I took away some gems of wisdom from Tracy and the slides were also very helpful for visuals. I will be looking out for more of your future events. Thank you! Fatima

Susan Raikes

Just attended a very helpful talk from Tracy having found it in her newsletter. Really practical and helpful - even the session itself was very calming. I will definitely come back again and would thoroughly recommend.

Klaudia Ostrouch

Tracy hosted a session for our workforce, which focused on kindness. It was the best well-being session we’ve done so far and we’ve received really good feedback on it. Staff also engaged a lot during the session, which doesn’t happen often.

Just completed a wonderful course on anxiety with Tracy from Way to Wellbeing. There was a huge amount of content, both informative and interesting. The sessions were really enjoyable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Way to Wellbeing and I am already looking forward to my next course with Tracy. Thank you Tracy.

Theresa McTaggart

Tracy is very knowledgeable on the subject of mental health and this allows her to deliver a course which is both interesting and engaging.

She touches on potentially difficult topics in an empathetic, relaxed format. Participants are gently encouraged to engage to allow individuals to learn within their own comfort zone. No-one is ever under any pressure to perform or share, but Tracy is able keep participants involved in discussions to develop individual learning.

The content is delivered in a variety of formats so it never feels like ‘death by PowerPoint’, in fact in between each session you are always looking forward to the next session. The sessions are run in small groups to enable you to build relationships and give you ownership and a voice. Participants are able to discuss case studies and problem solve in small breakout groups before sharing thoughts with the whole group and participate in whichever way they are comfortable. The resources provided along with reassurances from Tracy have given me confidence in my own ability and tools that I can use on a daily basis in life and at work.

Tracy has extensive knowledge and a wide variety of additional resources/links that she provides as extra information around the topics covered if anyone is interested in exploring further. It is my belief everyone should have to opportunity to take part in a course like this and I would highly recommend Tracy as an informative trainer and consultant.

Tracy was brilliant, so supportive and open. She enabled us all to share without feeling uncomfortable as she was so welcoming and warm I was amazed how online she facilitated an inclusive, friendly learning environment. Her knowledge both professional and personal meant there was no question unanswered.

Tracy was my trainer for my MHFA course in September, which was an online course. The course ran every Tuesday afternoon for 4 weeks and I thoroughly enjoyed the sessions. I have wanted to this course for a number of years and Tracy was great. She was very knowledgeable and engaging, Tracy facilitated the sessions really well everyone was given the opportunity to speak and share their experiences or inexperience’s in some cases and Tracy also shared her own experiences which enhanced the learning. Tracy created a safe space for us to talk about sensitive issues and I felt because of her training style we really built trust in each other as a group.

Since completing the course I have implemented a number of my end of course goals and my colleagues will all now be going through the MHFA training with Tracy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this course and Tracy.

Janet Baumkotter

Tracy has delivered two successful MHFA courses for BCT and I have attended one myself. I have also just booked a third course (the first online).

Tracy is professional in all her interaction with us. I have found her to be a warm and engaging trainer who has a wealth of experience and knowledge. Colleagues have commented that they feel reassured by her, that she is calm, open, empathetic and non-judgemental with a skill for facilitating discussion and focusing on the points they raised; also that she covers some very tough topics in an accessible and sensitive way, encouraging engagement without pushing people if they’re uncomfortable.

I would highly recommend Tracy.

I have used Way to Wellbeing to deliver mental health awareness, stress and wellbeing courses.

Tracy Douthwaite is a fantastic facilitator that has vast knowledge of the subject area, has the ability to adapt content and delivery to the needs of the audience. Her calm and friendly manner invites delegates to open up about their own personal experiences in a non-judgemental and supportive environment.

What Tracy delivers is not just a course as the door is always left open for delegates to be signposted to support and be sent regular communication from Way to Wellbeing.

I recently completed a Mental Health First Aid Training course with Tracy and I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to know more about the topic.

Course material was sent to my address ahead of the course which I really appreciated because I do prefer printed resources that I can scribble on and take notes, underline, etc. The course was online and the platform used was very user friendly and there was a fair amount of self-learning which I thought was very helpful. This was all done through the online hub and it consisted on a series of short tasks so nothing too strenuous but enough to get you thinking on the subject.

Tracy was a lovely course leader and presented each topic well, invited questions and discussion in a safe and non-judgmental environment. She communicated all the topics clearly and it definitely felt like it was a 2-way communication rather than a 2h lecture. She was also available for individual meetings and chats should anyone needed to and really checked our own mental health throughout the course (as we were covering potentially triggering topics).

I would definitely recommend Tracy and this particular course to anyone; definitely finished the course with a lot more knowledge and confidence to support someone in need. Thank you Tracy
